My 2020 Silverado pickup was towed to Appleway Chevrolet through GM Roadside, which can only tow the vehicle to the nearest Chevy dealership (otherwise I would have had them tow it to Camp Chevrolet, which is where I bought it). My pickup was at Appleway Chevrolet for 6 weeks (7/30 to 9/9) to replace the transmission, which was under warranty. I physically went into this service department 3 times and I am just amazed anyone brings their vehicle to be serviced at Appleway Chevrolet. On each visit I was ignored for several minutes before even being greeted by anyone or asked if I needed help. David Powell, the Service Advisor, needs to be somewhere other than dealing with customers because he clearly hates his job and he dislikes dealing with the public. I saw a younger employee come up to David and ask him a question and David literally ignored the kid until the kid walked away without getting help. As a customer, I feel like I was not welcome in the Appleway Service department, and it was uncomfortable each time I went there or called there. On the day I picked up my Silverado (9/9), David made me aware at the time of pick up that I had a glow plug issue. Rather than keeping the pickup with Appleway to get fixed, I drove it to Camp Chevrolet (which is where I bought the vehicle new) to set up a glow plug appointment. While setting up this appointment in person I casually asked them a question (without telling them about the experience I just had at Appleway). I asked them how long it would take to diagnose and replace a transmission under warranty for a pickup like mine. They told me it would be about a week as they keep those transmissions in stock. I couldn't believe it. After my awful experience at Appleway Chevrolet, I naturally started telling a lot of people about it. Well, it seems I was the last one to find out about Appleway's service. The Appleway group has a pretty bad reputation, already, for the servicing departments. When my pickup first went to Appleway, I told myself that if they did a good job for me on my transmission, I would buy my next new pickup in the next 12 months from them. Now after my bad experience at Appleway Chevrolet, I am considering other makes before buying a new GM pickup again. -Todd Ekstrom

I was not there. The work was done in coordination with the collision center which was all handled very well.

My appointment was longer than I thought so they took me home and offered to pick me up afterward. Good job
